At least once a week (and sometimes more), someone asks us if we have any space available in our little log cabin. Most of these inquiries are from customers who are inspired by what they see, and dream of having their own space in a shop...someday.
If you're dreaming of having a vintage business, here are a few tips we've learned along the way.
We know that YOU know that we should all wash our face (literally and figuratively.) But it's also true that occasionally, you need to wash your furniture.
Sherri and I both love picking trips. And when I can combine a visit to see family and celebrate a holiday, AND find some new picking spots...well, I do a little happy dance, to the tune of....(yes, you guessed it: "On the Road Again.") But I'm not a road-warrior like Willie. Six days and 1600+ miles later, I confess: I am ready to unload Bertha-the-Armada, do a quick check on my garden, and lay my weary head on my own pillow in my own bed, in my own home.
WHO WRITES THIS STUFF?
I'm Terry Lea, owner of Re-Invintage Home, a vintage home goods shop just south of Nashville in Murfreesboro, TN. A lifelong passion for vintage picking led me to open a shop with my picking pal, Sherri in 2017. Come see us!
