Happy Thursday, friends! Today is a special anniversary day for us...it was three years ago today we held our inaugural painting class here at Re-Invintage. We had opened a mere two months earlier, but we knew we wanted to help our customers feel confident tackling their painting projects. We purchased a stack of generous-size wood stools from IKEA, and offered an introduction to chalk painting class in our #PickersAlley space. These students gamely painted their stools surrounded by stacks of unpainted furniture, and emerged triumphant with a rainbow assortment of finished stools. It was the class that launched dozens of classes to follow. Not long after this class, one of our consignors brought in a barn quilt painted on a 2-foot by 2-foot square board. That got our wheels turning, and we soon offers our first barn quilt class, followed by many others. They remain among our most popular painting classes. We've continued to offer a variety of painting classes, from using milk paint or chalk paint on furniture and cabinets , to short and sweet paint-n-take projects. Here are just a few snippets from our classes. Watch our Events page here or on Facebook for upcoming classes and details on how to sign up. If you haven't signed up for one of our painting classes, what are you waiting for? Check out our Events page and find the perfect class for you!
