In the South, things heat up early and stay blistering hot for a long time. Midsummer is typically recognized as the start of summer, but this week marks the midway point through summer.
No matter what you call it, we're still a long way from true fall weather.
By now, we're Jonesing for days of cooler weather, flannel, boots and pumpkin-spice everything, but it's not quite time to break out the trappings of fall. Here are some ways to freshen up the decor and honor the season we're in. Take a peek and get inspired. All photos courtesy of Pinterest. Follow us on Pinterest for more inspiration.
Look around your home for items that you can use to celebrate the second half of summer in your own way: baskets and buckets - even old ice cream freezer buckets, glass jugs and handblown glass vases, zinc containers, etc. can all work as an informal vase for fresh cut or faux flowers.
Many of the items pictured are available in the shop, so come by and let us help you find your own personal summer vibe.
