We've got May flowers, and we're sooooo exited to show them off!
But let's back up a minute.
We admit it: Sherri and I are both fools for April. April means last frost...and that means the return of warm weather here in Tennessee. Warm weather means we can paint outside - at least when it's not raining.
And warm weather means we can get busy gardening, both at the shop and in our own gardens. In fact, we took advantage of a warm afternoon to spiffy up the front-side of our shop this week. We've got more work to do, but we're holding off on planting flowers until the risk of frost has passed. (We're not that foolish!)
So about those florals. We also spent time this week getting a new "potting shed" vignette ready to greet you when you come in our entryway. Our new potting bench features a 1956 Yorktown farmhouse sink set in a bench we painted in one of our all-time favorite General Finishes colors: "Patina Green." It holds our featured florals, along with an assortment of containers and watering cans for you to choose from.
Major-the-Shopdog didn't help build the bench, but he did give it a two-paws-up when he was hanging out with us this week.
If you're feeling spring-y, come on in and check it out - and pick up some gorgeous stems to give your house a fresh spring feel.
