It all started on a picking trip.
Does that surprise anyone?

We're Terry Lea (on the left) and Sherri Brown (on the right) and we were flea-market-going-friends before we made our shared hobby into a full-fledged business.

Like many other shop owners, we started out small. In mid-2015 we opened a booth in a local antique mall, where we were known as the Southern Pickin' Chicks. We honed our picking and painting skills, and fine-tuned our style. Eighteen months later, we felt we were ready to open a shop. We searched for a location closer to home. As serendipity would have it, a little log cabin became available at the same time, so in February 2017, we invited a select handful of vendors to join us and opened for business less than a month after signing the lease.  Fast-forward three short years, and a larger location on Franklin Road opened up, so we took another leap and moved a mile down the road .... in the middle of a global pandemic. Things have been moving at the speed of light ever since!

We've been been repeatedly honored to be named "Best Antique Shop" and "Best Place to Buy Paint" in Rutherford county . More important than awards are our customers. First-time customers come from near and far to visit us every day. Many become repeat customers and we are humbled by the warm friendships that have blossomed in our shop.

You're stylish and authentic .... so are we!

Our site and our shop is a mix of handpicked and handcrafted items, brought to you by us, and dozens of local pickers and artisans. Our inventory is continuously changing and evolving. One of the most frequent comments from regular customers is "It's totally changed in here. AGAIN."

Our shop is filled to the rafters with painted, reclaimed and repurposed furniture,  hand-lettered signs and original artwork, along with carefully curated metalware, retro and vintage linens &  dishes and architectural salvage pieces.

Our goal is to have the things that will make your house a home that reflects your unique style.

When you can't shop in person, our online shop brings local items and a hand-picked selection of our favorite decor to you. You can also sign up for classes and learn about our upcoming events so you don't miss any of the fun!
